These terms are an agreement between you and 2865624 ONTARIO INC. ("we", "us") about your use of Abby, our AI phone assistant, including calls, texts and this website. By using Abby, you agree to these terms and to how we handle information as described in our privacy policy.

1. Abby is an AI

Abby is an AI assistant, not a person. She can misunderstand you, get facts wrong or make mistakes, so check anything important before relying on it. Abby gives general information only and isn't a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other advice.

2. Not for emergencies

Abby can't contact emergency services or send help. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

3. Who can use Abby

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that's older, to use Abby.

4. Your account and PIN

Keep your PIN secret. You're responsible for anything done on your account with your PIN, so tell us right away if you think someone else knows it. After several wrong PINs, we lock logins for a while to protect your account.

5. Using Abby responsibly

We may limit, suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put others at risk.

6. Connected accounts

When you connect a Google, Microsoft or other account, you allow Abby to use it on your behalf to do what you ask. You're responsible for the requests you make, such as messages Abby sends for you. You can disconnect at any time. Your use of those accounts is also governed by their providers' terms.

7. SMS Terms

These SMS terms cover text messages from Abby, a service of 2865624 ONTARIO INC.

Our texting page explains more, including what Abby says before sending a text.

8. Paid plans

Some features may need a paid plan. We'll show you the price and billing terms before you buy, and our payment processor handles payments. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period, unless we say otherwise at checkout or the law requires a refund.

9. Changes and availability

Abby is a new service and will keep changing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may also update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect. Using Abby after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Abby is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that she'll be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Abby is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CA$100.

12. Your rights under local law

Some places don't allow some of the limits in these terms. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be decided by the courts of Ontario, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
